It is possible to exclude specific objects from having their validation rules checked offline within the Axsy Mobile App. Please see this article form more information: Validation Rule Settings
NOTE: Even if a validation rule isn't checked locally in the Axsy Mobile App, it will still be checked on the Salesforce Platform.
